Start Of A 2jz S13

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

are you using the W-58 trans? Looks like it...your gonna kaboom it if it is lol.Because the install is in an S13. Look for an R-154. You have enough room to not cut anything. It will also hold a lot more hp.. if taken care of. Unless you wanna be baller... V160 or V161 that besh.

ebay fest I see. Hope you dont have any boost spike issues or fuel shortage issues. No need in blowing up a 1500 motor set.

GL though ill be watching.

I am in the middle of doing a 2jz s14 swap and i bought those mounts on ebay. Just as a warning i can't mount my engine and transmission as one piece. I have to drop the k-member and mount the engine from the bottom then lift the kmember and engine/trans up to the car. The top of the cylinder head hits the firewall and the mounts wont go into the holes.

i've replaced alot more broken r154's than i have w58's the w58 is rock solid,.... hell beat the crap outta one for a summer when I killed my r-154 and it was a quick fix I had laying around. another friend of mine did the same thing with that same tranny this summer, hes putting around 350 to the wheels and he was even worse than I was to it......

Bottom line is the w58 is bullet proof till somewhere over 400 to the wheels.... theres a reason so many na-t mkiv owners don't have issues..
