start/idle woes

91 240 ka24deSYMPTOMS-idles high 1100 (mostly steady, hunts sometimes)-idle drops down to stall when at stoplights (decelerating)-impossible to start sometimes (engine hot or cold) sputters, wont catch, have to give gas to start

REPLACED/ADJUSTED/CHECKED-new ground wires-new fuel filter-adjusting the idle screw does nothing-checked timing-taken apart air intake, checked for leaks-removed AIV, plugged lines-injectors look good, no leaking-plugs probably need to be changed-cleaned mafs, have not checked voltage-cleaned throttle body

im going to check out the coolant temp sensor connection tomorrow. the ruff start comes and goes, i dont get it. other than that, im out of ideas....(ive searched)
