Just wondering, but I can get my hands on about 4 or 5 Starion Intercoolers for about $50. But anyway, I was just wondering what exactly would I need from the Starion to get all this to run together. other than the MKIII supra intercooler piping. Also, how difficult is it to install this sucka? Would I just need to run to home depot or Osh and grab some brackets?:help

Can you get me one? ;)

as for difficulty, its not hard, i mean a couple bent pipes and some couplers and youre set.. youll need to either relocate your battery or get a smaller one though.

I can try to get you one, but I want to see the condition of these suckas before I offer them out to anyone. hmmm.... I've got a 91, would I need to relocate the battery? If so how would I go about doing this?

I understand that you don't have any yet, or have any idea what kind of condition they are in. I already have a FMIC but it's not as big as I'd like it to be. I just would like to have dibs on one if they turn out any decent.

i think heavy throttle (srswap.com) sells them for like 65, or you can spend about 105 and get a smaller battery. youll also need a 3" hole saw (like a dremel) to drill a hole in the battery tray, or maybe you can just remove it, im not 100%

heres the relocation kit: http://www.srswap.com/shopexd.asp?id=145

heres the mini-battery: http://www.srswap.com/shopexd.asp?id=367

it's cool, I've got a dremel. I'm sure I'll figure it out. Hey does the MKIII supra piping work?

check the edit ;)

and no the piping wont work...unless you chop it into bends and use it like that...that could work, but youd have to buy some extra stuff

Something also to note about the Starion Front Mount, is that it sucks hard, many tests on DSMs have shown that even their crappy sidemounts do a better job than the Starion Front Mount, so imo use the stock SR20 sidemount and will most likely cool just as well, and the ease of install is much greater.

So far from what I've researched it works pretty well on the SR20DET. Haven't had any complaints so far about it. Most of the people I've read on here and other places seem to say that the Starion worked better than the Sidemount.
