I never played SC 1, I was into C&C, But ill be on this for sure as im a huge fan of Blizzard games. (Diablo2)

You should definitely go pick the StarCraft BattleChest (if you can't find that, Blizz still sells their older games from their website) and play through StarCraft and the Brood War expansion before you play SC2. You'll be completely lost if you pick up in the middle of the story.

well, to be honest im not really concerned with the story, i just wanna battle some fools online, haha. I like doing skirmish

i'd better go finish brood war before i pick this one up...I like the new units though, it'll be awesome to see what changes they've made to the game dynamics. The article from their site said how they wanted to differentiate the 3 races even more. They all ready played much differently, it'll be awesome if that goes further.

After you've finished Brood War, go back and cheat on the last level (if you have to). Get it done in under (I think) 25 minutes and you'll get the bonus missions. They were the cliffhanger that had everyone wanting to know "what happens with THAT?!"

I beat Starcraft a couple of months ago and I'm chipping away at the expansion pak now. Excellent game, can't wait for the sequel.

See that I don't even gotta leave Nico for game updates. I was waiting and wondering when they were gonna put official word out about SC2. I use to be addicted to BW way back when. I needa stop being cheap and go buy it again, it's like .59 for a battle chest now lol
