I received a free bottle of this about a year ago at the parts unlimited dealer expo and I just came across it. I was just curious if anyone has run this in anything. It's supposed to break down water and such that is affiliated with ethanol blended gas. I suppose I could put it to use. I have heard that a lot of marine stores carry it as many 2 stroke outboards don't like ethanol so much.

"Break down water"??? Wtf?

As is, ethanol mixes with water and gas, so it sort of takes whatever water you might have sloshing around at the bottom of your tank, and "mixes" it with the gas. I've actually seen a mixture, it almost looks like cloudy gasoline... Its the same thing "dry gas" does. I'm not sure if Star Tron has some sort of other junk in it though.

Well... I know the AMSOIL product keeps the ethanol from separating from the gasoline thus eliminating the water issue.... but... .yeah... can't justify paying for it when it adds $4+ to every tank
