Stanza ECU in 89 240sx

Will it make a difference if you put a Stanza ECU in a 240sx with the 8.6:1 compression pistions, if the computer is for a 9:1? Just wondering, looking to add a consult port and tuning the ecu.

you can tune the 240ecu as well but with no support for consult. However it should work. IIRC I have a 89 ecu that I ran a while. I think the maps are different. Do you have a/f monitoring? IMHO I say buy that first before any tuning!
