standard oil cooler removal?

hey guys, am i able to remove the standard oil cooler stabaliser? if i do does the oil filter still screw on? Am i able to just bung the hole in the block where the water pipe goes to from the stabaliser? just tryn to get rid of the unwanted stuff as im haven problems with spliting hoses, any help will be awsome thanks

Get a oil filter mount from a European or manual transmission CA18DET.

Good question. I imagine not. I know that my old JDM CA came factory with an auto and it had a water oil cooler and my new motor with manual trans does not.
