ok im doing a swap with a tt and i need to either fight with the few clipped wires on my new harness. some of which got me confused to what they are in the first place . or go the performance route and get a standalone. only im new to standalones and not sure how to find a good one that would do the job. if anyone knows of a good unit please help. thnx

Buying a Factory Service Manual to get a better understanding of the oem harness will be the best route and most straight forward. Only additional thing you would need would be a boost controller.

If you decide to research alternatives more, I would suggest looking into the AEM.
