I just got an S13 240 and have decided on an RB swap. I was wondering about Standalone ECU's. I searched and couldn't find too much on them. Is anyone using one and where was a good place to get them? Would it be easier to just buy a standalone than wire the RB's harness in? This is my first import project car, having previously come from the muscle car crowd. Thanks

I'm 90% sure I'm going Haltech. Another thing to consider when going for a standalone is support, and what shops in you area are able to tune your system when you get it.

HALTECH... OR HEY EVEN THE GREDDY E-MANAGE IS AWESOME AND OFFERS ALOT OF CONTROL AND THE BEST PART IS THAT YOU CAN JUST UNLUG IT IF YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO STOCK.
