im not entirley sure what you are asking but i think this is the answer:

the standalone is based on the engine harness (most are). meaning you get a standalone for the RB25 and it plugs into the factory skyline engine harness. you still need to wire the car for the engine to make everything run tho.

be nice to the noob lol. If ur going to run a PFC for a RB25 you will need the RB25 engine harness. The KA24 is not a Inline 6 with coil packs. So there for you need to wire the car up with the RB25 engine harness then plug in your PFC. Make sure it works with the Stock ECU 1st and then plug in the PFC. Ohh and search PFC it will help you out when it comes time to plug it in.

just get a true standlone and then you don't need the RB25 harness, the KA24 harness just need to provide power to the engine management unit, guages and body harness.

some units to look at;Accel DFIAEMHaltechSDSElectromotiveFAST

Don't forget autronic... I think I'm going to run the SM4 after doing a few years of looking. First things first though... got to catch everything up to speed in the car first.

Has anyone converted the chassis harness to a Painless kit? I've been thinking about switching it over to clean things up. Might have to find a way to make the car have fixed seatbelts though.
