I received my Stance GR+ Pro coilovers today for the S13. I have heard people in the past speak about the rear mount bushing on the Stance being polyurethane (usually red in the pics). The ones i received today clearly have a rubber bushing?

Anyone know anything about this? Was there a design change or did the GR+ Pro always come with rubber bushings?

Thanks,K

I called and asked about this before and yes, they changed the design. So don't worry about it. According to Stance, bushings have been improved. Just make sure to install longer flange(?) facing outside, not diff.

Good to know, thanks, i was wondering which side i should put the long end on.

It's hard to imagine how a rubber bushing is an improvement over a poly bushing though, unless the polys were defective in some way. Perhaps they had a problem with their original supplier.

I've heard elsewhere that the units for the FD previously had some issues with the bushing warping, but i this is not first hand info and i have no idea in how many instances this proved to be a problem.

I remember now. That red poly bushings cracked after some time, so they removed them. Anyway, yours should be good as is, so don't worry and enjoy them... They are really good quality coilovers.
