I know this has probably been covered a billion times by now, but ive heard good things about these coilovers and wanted to hear your two cents. I am still very new to nissans. Ive had a integra for two years and for a graduation present I bought myself a 240. It has a stock KA24de, stage 1 clutch, lightweight flywheel, kaaz 2 way lsd, and its stripped. It was all done by the previous owner. Like every other teenager, ya i want to drift, (flame me now i know it will happen eventually.) and i live in the middle of no where so the only place I have to practice is in parking lots. I wont call myself good at drifting, but im alot better than anyone else in this town. Ive got some extra money saved up besides my college money, and I want to upgrade the suspension first. Some advice would be greatly appreciated. Also for a graduation gift, the family pitched in for me to go to a skip barber race school, I really want to do this, but should i just use that money for the build. All thoughts and criticisms and flames are welcomed. Anything you say will help me out!

Stance are great entry level coilovers. But I would get the GR+ Pro since they're only $100 more. In fact, thats exactly what I'm doing soon.

But to tell you the truth, I think the Racing School will be more valuable to you in the long run. In the event that you decide to change to a different car in the future, that experience is something that you can always take with you. Coilovers, you can't.

If I had to choose, I'd go to Racing School and get coils later.

The difference between the GR+ and the PROs are 2 rear "helper" springs. And if you're gonna be like most people, you'll just end up ditching them later. Save the $100 for something useful.

Though the driver school sounds pretty cool.

you'd be surprised the difference the helper springs make in regards to comfort...

but on the other hand, you'll be able to sit lower without em, lol

Stance gets my vouch... don't forget, they also give you a second set of springs too

That is only with the GR+ Pros. When I recieved my AL+ (which is roughly the same as the GR+ pro just with an aluminium dampers instead of steel) they only came with 1 set of springs 8/6.

I love mine, but I have had limited seat time in other coilovered 13s so it's hard to compair to another brand.

So Adrian, in regards to Stance only, would you say: If you want to slam, get GR+.If you want some comfort and more modest lowering, get GR+ Pro.

Does that sound about right?
