I know this is the third thread i've made involving them, please forgive me. I hope this information can be used for anyone who is looking for affordable coilovers. I'm a noob at driving and at cars, please take this into consideration. I'm just trying to be helpful...

The install SHOULD be simple, but was pure headache for me. They sent me the coils for 929 shipped, but the fronts didn't have pilllowball mounts, and i didnt know they were suposed to have them at the time, so i attempted to put my stock pillowball mounts onto the coils to find out it wouldnt work. I put my stock spring/strut back together, and called enjuku. They sent me the pillowballs withen two days. MAKE SURE THE SHIPPER CHECKS FOR THE PILLOW BALL MOUNTS stance made a batch that went out and didn't have the mounts on them... otherwise install is simple, just like any other coilover, which you can find in many other threads. all you need is a 14mm, 17mm, and breaker bar.

You're probably wondering "which one is better, stance basics or Megan racing?" They're both priced the on the same levell, the basics being a few bucks more. The stances are stiffer than the megans at full soft dampening. Stances are 15way and the Megans are 32 way. They're both about the same stiffness when on full stiff, hard to tell the diference cus they're both so jaw shattering on Maryland roads at full stiff... the stances come with rubber pillow ball bushings for a "softer ride" but i could hardly tell the difference, if any. Only difference i see is the bushings wearing out and having to be replaced in the future, who knows when... with equal dampening on the front and rear, the rear will be a bit bouncier than the front, maybe because of the lower spring rate? I don't know, i'm not a mech. I like to drive with the rear really stiff. I set it on 6 (1 being softest) on the front and 8 on the rear for daily driving. Yeah, it's stiff, but you get used to it, and i don't care, this car isn't luxery. Honestly, I couldn't tell you if the basics handle better than the MR streets. I'm not a good driver, never tracked the megans. They both gave me the same impression of "DAMN stock sucks balls". If i were to track, I'd choose megans, simply because of the solid mounts. I backroad alot, and i experience alot of understeer, but I blame that on my 205's in the front and 245's in the rear. When they say the car rides on rails, it DOES ride on rails lmao, or it seems like it after you come from stock. I plan on upgrading to GR+'s. If there's anything else you think i missed, let me know...

Basicaly, if you're in the market for coilovers and are on a budget, throw stance basics in as an option. They're not the best but they're definately worth 929$ shipped.

Email from stance on how to install the pillowball mounts for idiots like me:

(techincaly the top nut is suposed to be torqued down to 30ftlbs, but I was told by stance to turn it down until you see the top two threads).

1) if you want a crap road in MD near CP, look up springfield near capitol college.

2) Youre thinking of the GR+ next, would you mind elaborating on the differences between the GR Sport and GR + ??
