Alright so my s13 came with stance Gr+ or Lx+ coilovers. I have never had them before or messed around with any and i went to lower my car today thinking i knew how to do it with out double checking and of course i did it completely wrong. I lowered the two lower collars on the spring perch so now the stiffness and all of that is messed up. Does anyone have any idea of the stock measurements or settings for the spring perch..?

I now know what i did wrong and it was a stupid avoidable mistake but i can not find the measurements for it so if anyone knows the help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure on the stock setup. I just have mine set to as soft as they can get. Maybe try setting them super soft and then drive it then adjust from there...that is if you can't find out what the stock setup is. Or maybe even try to call Stance to get the specs.

Stance coilovers dont adjust through preload.
the way you did it is a great way to shorten the life of your coilovers.

what you need to do is set them back to 0ish preload. you'll know its 0 when the spring doesn't have much tension on it..
since you lowered it im assuming you didn't add preload. so just adjust it back to the way it was.

to lower correctly. loosen the lower perch, and turn the WHOLE shock body clockwise i believe to lower the coilover.

That is what i attempted to do i had it marked off when i started but from playing with it the marks wore off so i don't know exactly where they were to start but i put them back to where i thought was close and its still to soft. I did not drive on them like that though E7-s14

I'll try and see what Stance say's and if not i will just make it stiffer and lower the correct way from there.

there is a knob on the bottom of the coilover to adjust for dampening.
they are inverted shock monotube, adjustments on the bottom instead of on the top..

Stance coilovers adjust ride height and dampening separately.
