i got them all installed. all 4 corners are set a little higher than what i want, but thats because it started snowing here today the ONLY problem and a pretty serious one i have is this horrible continuous clunking sound when i turn. it sounds similar to this, but only when i turn and not nearly as bad as in the video.

any help? i tried adjusting the tension on the spring. i tried it with the spring looser and with it tighter, both yielded the same noise. i was then going to torque the nut on top of the coilover, but the whole nut and body turned when i tried to do so. only my right front makes the noise... PLEASE HELP ME!! i do not feel safe driving like this

The HKS noise was probably cause by the nut at the top being loose(had a problem with a set of coilovers i had)

is it only doing it when you turn?cuz it could be because the spring is not turning.. in in turn clunks when then shock turns.

contact Stancethey should help you with the problem

yes its only when i turn. i noticed the spring does turn but not smoothly. it jitters while the wheels are turning and that is what is causing the clunking sounds

Good that you live close to TF. I wonder if a shot of WD-40 will fix the problem.

i just got back from touge factory. he was able to get the popping to quiet down. basically i just need to ride on it and break them in. it is NOTHING to worry about. stance products are great and i was very happy with their customer service. the easiest way to get rid of the annoying popping sound is to... turn up the music! im taking some pictures right now of my S14! will be on here soon

Umm... no, thats not right... Just because they are stance doesn't mean they are great no matter what and you have to deal with their problems. I don't understand?? Get a new set...

Seems like stance's products are going downhill.... more and more problems with their coilovers are surfacing. Well..... that and the majority of people don't know how to install things correctly.

yeah, my stance basics make the same clunk noise in the rear. I have no idea what could be causing this beside this problem I think the coilovers are great.

take some pics of both your setups and compare. Also some video so you can compare. I've been researching about these coilovers and am starting to worry. no ones suspension should sound like that unless it's blown. just my $.02
