i did some searching, called about 6 shops, now i just need to hear from you guys before i make my final decision. i ordered MR's from tougefactory on sunday night, but apparently they're not in stock ANYWHERE. enjuku said they can get stance basics here to me by weds, and i need my car on the road by weds night. pros and cons of Stance basic is bigger/better valving on the shocks, but no pillow ball. Megan's have pillow balls, but not as beefy shocks. stances are 15way adjustable, mr's are 32. what would you guys get? my max limit is 1000$

the top hat is gonna make the difference. harsher ride, more adjustability. double check the warrantee on both, then buy whichever fits your needs.

i say stance...its possible tein or cusco pillowball mounts fit the stance coils so you could upgrade later, so maybe stance sells the pillowball mounts separate

yeah but how many shops have a coil remover that can fit those springs? they seem to be half the size of OEM Coils in both length and width by pictures. I know both the remover in my Auto Tech program can't fit them, and the mecs at my workplace say they can't change springs on coil-overs (not that would anyways, they have a policy against Aftermarket suspension parts after an "incident").

WTF are you talking about? Coilovers =/= strut/spring combo's.
