when i put the pillowball/camber plates onto the coils, do i put them in, then adjust the spring to where they are located? or do i adjust the camber plate/pillowball mount to where the spring is.. i can push the spring up and down..

I got my basic stance's from enjuku on weds, ordered monday. I opened the box, then other the other four boxes, and everything seemed fine to me. I'm a mechanical idiot so i didn't know wtf a camber plate looked like... and there was no pillowball so i just assumed that was alright since they were listed to not have those mounts, but i was wrong on that one. I realized the stock pillowball mount did not fit on the stances after i pulled the strut out and spent almost an hour torching/wiggling/wd40'ing these two stripped bolts to take them out, and another good 2 hours figuring out that the sprin compressor i rented from advanced auto was for a coil only, and not for a strut/spring assembly... then i took the pillowball off and fitted it on my coil and found out it didnt fit.. i called up enjuku and they told me that the one i got was the ones that stances messed up on and didnt include the camber/pillowball on the front two coils. so they arranged for them to be shipped to me by saterday morning, enjuku has been nothing but great to me and i appreciate that. so i spent another hour figuring out how the hell i'm going to fit the pillowball back onto the stock strut so i can drive it around for now, i finaly got it on, and about 4 to 5 hours of wasted time... i suck with rachets =/

when i put the pillowball/camber plates onto the coils, do i put them in, then adjust the spring to where they are located? or do i adjust the camber plate/pillowball mount to where the spring is.. i can push the spring up and down..

well I like to have the spring snug, not tight, then mount then adjust height from there. and the stereotype is that black people don't get sunburnt. the melanin(spelling) in the skin protects us. but I've been told we can get sunburnt.

Think about it this way. the mounts are not height adjustable. can you take a pic of what you are talking about. the mounts are supposed to be bolted on and not moved up and down.

I can relate with this situation. I wanted to be a mechanical expert but seemed to be so hard so I still remain idiot. When I went on with that problem, I didn’t had the patience to pursue in doing it myself so I brought it to a mechanic and let them do it for me. I was just told to buy some parts, including Nissan Strut Mount ( http://www.shopnisparts.com/nissan-strut-bellows/ ), coils and springs. Now I find time reading some posts to give me some idea. Anyways, I hope there is a further explanation in this matter here.
