I know there are other threads addressing this, because I have searched and read all of them that I can find. I have however not been able to solve my problem. Here goes the issue and thank you in advance for any help offered.
I have a 91 KA24DE coupe with a 5 speed. My car started having a rough idle, loss of power, and lots of shaking when stopping or idling. I tested my injectors and one of them was bad. I replaced it and the car ran fine. About two weeks later, I got the same thing. Replaced yet another injector and again the car was fixed. So I have now replaced the injectors for Cylinder 2 and 3. It has been a few weeks and I found that my MAF was bad. Had a decent idle, but would stall under acceleration. I got another one from a junk yard, but after replacing it I have the following issues. The car again idles fine, but when I push the throttle it falls on its face. It will idle up, but acts as if the fuel is cutting off. If I pat the accelerator it will slowly throttle up, but it is labored at best. Here is a list of things that I have done/replaced since the MAF swap.
-Replaced plugs
-Replaced Ignition to Distributor wire due to bad resistance reading
-Removed PAIR valve
-Removed EGR
-Replaced Fuel filter
-Replaced various vacume lines due to some being cracked
-Replaced Fuel Pressure Regulator
-Replaced O2 Sensor
-Checked and Rechecked Throttle position sensor, MAF-replacement one reads fine-, Injectors, Coil, and Plug wires.

The only things that I can think of still being a problem are the fuel pump, but the car idles fine so not so sure about this one, the throtlle position sensor, or the MAF was crap when I got it. I am tired of throwing parts at it and really need some assistance. Any suggestions are very welcome. I am leaning towards the MAF just being crap, but again it tests good.

It does and the only thing I haven't done is replace the MAF. So, I ordered one today. I was going to try and see if the ecu would give me a code, but it has rained all day here. Maybe I can do that tonight.

Did you ever find the source of this problem, because I am experiencing the same thing and its driving me nuts!

Also how did you test the injectors, just by checking resistance?

Thanks,
Sean

No, I have not been able to fix this as of yet. I have narrowed it down to either being a ground somewhere or a bad ecu.......through the FSM.
I just have not had the time to keep working on it lately.
For the injectors, yeah I checked the resistance. Also, the fsm says to pull one at a time to see if the engine stalls more. I got resistance on all four and then by pulling the connection with the engine running you see if their is one that is actually stuck closed or not.
I have done alot of changing out of parts recently on this, which it needed anyway due to the miles, but I have not actually gotten the problem to stop. It has gotten better, but not completely fixed.
