info:1991 nissan sileightysr20 blacktop...just rebuilt (stock int.)t28 bb s15 turbo....

i just rebuilt my sr20 and dropped it back in my car....started it up and it turned over the first crank.... ran good. Then i went to take it down the road and it seemed fine till i drove a few miles and i began to notice it would stall or studder every time i put the clutch in or when i floored it. I checked the timing (perfect), and as i was doing that i heard an exhaust leak...

so i took the turbo/manifold off and found some cracks in my megan racing turbo extension... i figured that was it becuase it was before the o2 sensor and my afr gauge read very lean when it was obvious it was running very rich.

i got it welded put it all back together and it has anouther huge exhaust leak, and has the same problem...

if it is the exhaust manifold gaskets, could this cause the stalling/sputtering and lack of power?? is there more to it than just this exhaust leak??

ohh and BTW it still gets on boost VERY easily (7psi)

well if you know that its a huge exhaust leak again why dont you fix it and then see if that clears the problem..if your gaskets are pressed down then they wont be a problem..also it could be a vac/boost leak check for those..but get that other exhaust leak fixed first im sure thats the problem

Also coilpacks might be an issue....
