Can Anyone help me? I have a 1996 240sx and everytime I stop or rev the engine the idle dips all the way down and the car stalls out. I've had the TPS replaced, the MAS looked at, almost replaced everything in the damn engine and its still stalling out! I'm basically fed up cause I don't know what the problem could be. I recently had a Greddy Turbo kit installed but people I've talked to say that it shouldn't cause any stalling problems like the one I'm having. I'm kinda new at all this stuff so can anyone out there help me and through a pup a bone?

I'll give it a shot man. How dirty is your iacv? Have you look at the inside of it. You might want to clean it. Is the turbo kit using an open atmosphere bov? I believe quite a few have had this problem. As far as the stalling and rough/unsteady idle its common, you have to search but there's tons of info on it or anything on nissans.

Welcome to NICO btw.

Thanx! Didn't have time to pull out everything to get to the IAVC and clean it out fully (I had to go to work) so I decided to be lazy and spray some carb cleaner in it. After an hour of letting it sit I started it up and it worked pretty clean except for the check engine light turning off and on, no stalling so far. When I get the time I'll remove the intake replace all the gaskets and clean the IACV, at least I know what the mystery stalling problem is now. Thanx!

Anyone know how much it would cost to repaint my 96 240sx the same color in San Diego? I want to put on my bodykit and bring it straight to paint (now that I got the problem solved), with luck I want to have it all pretty by at least the end of Nov.
