1997 Pathfinder XE, 5-speed 2wd, 96K miles.

Has develeoped a habit of intermittently stalling. Used to happen only while at a stop, now it has started happening while the vehicle is in motion.

I have checked MAF and cleaned TB / plenum, have not done anything else.

I will go through it methodically if I have a "plan of attack" - can someone help?

Check the injectors for leaks, maybe?

Hey Greg, any more details on the problem? You notice any smoke out the tail pipe, or roughness in idle, or possibly a high idle?

No smoke, idle is smooth and within specs...

Truck runs great otherwise.

All I can figure is some kind of problem with the ignition system. Have you checked all your fuses?

where the harness is strapped to the intake tube wiggle it there. If you have cold air intake and have removed the rubber boot then locate the white stripe on the harness going to the maf. There is a common problem where it was tie wrapped to the boot and was pulling back on the air flow connector causing it to break contact from the air flow meter terminals. With the car idleing kinda wiggle the wire and gently pull it so it goes taut between your grip and the meter. If it dies you found the problem. just push it so there is excess on the maf side and tie it back down.
