hey guys, wondering if you could help me out. I have a '95 Nissan Maxima, whopping 150,000 miles. Lately in the cold mornings or after sitting for about half a day I've had problems with it.

When I try to start it up it cranks over fine and starts up but then right away it bogs out and will die if I dont rev it about 2000 rpm for about 10 sec. lately ive kindof noticed a lower idle rpm as well. im guessin either fuel system or idle settings? thanks in advance, u guys rock

bump the idle up about 100 rpm by adjusting the screw near the throttle body under the black plastic cap. if it starts ok after that the problem is carbon build up both on the throttle plate and in the idle air control valve. To resolve that take it to a shop that does a induction flush. This requires the use of an apperatus that sparys cleaner into the intake in front of the throttle plate. Done properly this can remove as much as 80% of the carbon build up throughout the intake system.
