I was wondering what could cause stalling when i go from running..to a full stop, say stopping for a redlight or what ever..the car stalls. I did a boost leak test and pretty much knocked out all the small vac leaks i found from the poor welds on my ic piping but the car still dies out when i come to a stop

My setup is more then basic upgrade

HKS step 2 cams 264Brian Crower springs and retainers550cc injectorsCometic 1.01mm metal headgasketTopspeed intake manifoldMegan Exhaust manifoldProcession garrett gt2871 .64 trimz32 mafNismo FPREnthaply tuned ecu

Basicaly im looking for a responce from (Ilikemy240sx) because our setup is almost simular, or someone that has delt with alittle higher horsepower then stock sr20.

I asked around and some people say its my tune and some people say its the cam profile and either it needs to get tuned again or just raise the idle and mess with the iacv. Plus I have yet to figure out why my car shakes at idle (950-1k) im not sure if its the cams or my nismo mounts but its annoying so if anyone has delt with this problem they can throw their 2 cents in aswell..

thanks guys

Your problem lies in your b.o.v. ...either you need to tighten the spring or you need to recirculate your b.o.v. The reason I say this is because if your spring is too loose it will cause this problem..and if tightening it even as tight as it will go doesnt solve the problem then recirculating should..after you let off of the gas pedal that air let off by the b.o.v. is read by the maf but never enters the engine..after the maf reads it and lets the ecu know the ecu has the injectors put in more air and therefore there will be too much fuel a.k.a. your running too rich when letting off of the gas pedal

recirculation time..I highly highly highly doubt Enthalpy is your problem..you said you fixed all the little holes in your intercooler and all other vac leaks correct? how is your car at idle other than the shaking? I mean does the idle go up and down or sit still

It stays still the whole time.. and yeah i fixed alot of the small leaks i found..so now when i do my boost leak test the boost gauge takes about 2 min to decompress from 15 psi. so i still got a tiny leak somewhere cause it should stay and hold at a given psi.

Bro if you got AIM hit me up sil80315

venting BOV's can cause stalling right after you drop your revs... if that's in fact your cause and you dont wanna recirculate, you might be able to try the HKS eids...http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=2175
