Stalling issue after warmed up

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

This may have been asked before but I didn't see it. One month ago I bought a 2010 EX35, after about a week of driving, it started stalling. I drive for about 1/2 hr, stop at dog park for 45 minutes, then when I get back in it, it won't stay running.
RPM's drop right back to zero after start up and the only way to keep it running is to tap the gas while starting.
It does not throw any codes and the car lot said they can't recreate the problem.
They are going to take it in again but I have to try to narrow down for them when it happens.
Is this a common problem? Is there something in particular they should be looking for? Such as mass air flow sensor, or clean the throttle body?
Thanks in advance.

What did you buy for your EX, this week?

I bought a can of throttle body cleaner. I just cleaned both throttle bodies , very easy job. I made sure i never open the butterfly plate during the process to avoid throwing in some computer code. I did a quick throttle positioning reset etc. and it worked like a charm! No codes and very smooth power delivery, starting and idling. I did it at 55k miles. That warm stall engine starting is gone! I thought it was my battery and I had to replace it and stalling during hot start still happens. The throttle body cleaning fixed it.

lol , have read things that suggest , or they did not make it clear , oh wait , I remember now , there's FI and there's direct FI I guess , when I read about a car that has direct FI , and others do not , I am thinking the others have carbs when they really have just FI , not direst FI .

Thank you! I'll try that!
