hello everybody who reads this. I am new to this....

Well to get to the point:

I recently purchased a 1991 nissan 300zx TT and it runs like a beauty except one problem. Any info that can help me solve it would be appreciated.

When I drive through towns and cities around 25mph - 30mph it is fine. I hit the interstate increasing it is running beautiful. But once I hit about 70mph - 90mph...(note this happens not as often which is confusing me but happens every once in a blue moon) when i let my foot off the acceleration to slow down..... it will slow down fine but when i put my foot on the acceleration to pick speed up again it will just keep slowing down as if the car is almost stalling out or something. But while the car is slowing down it will slow down to about 30mph- 40mph and i am still pressing my foot on the acceleration at the time and around 35mph or so, it will pick up again without completely stallin out just picking up at if it never stalled out. i am thinking timing or fuel... but i am not an expert on this but i am not getting that much of a clue. please help me with this. i want to make this car into something of a hobbie and it is a great start.

Once again appreciate it.

I had a similar problem on my first Z. I found out that all my fuel injectors had high resistance and they all had to be replaced. Also a wirning harness was also corroded. If this is the problem u got its gonna be Expensive to fix the right way.

I had the same problem also, but it was my o2 sensors (oxygen sensors). There a pain to replace due to there location, but definitely a diy. The are 2 of them, 1 on each side of the vehcile. The one on the passenger side, you will need to remove the battery to get to it. The one on the driverside is under the master cylinder. The driverside will be a little challenging (because of the obstacles), but it took me a total of 2 hours from start to finish for both sides.
