Ok. This only happens sometime but its getting rather bother some to me. When Im driveing and i push in the clutch and the rpm drop to 0 and it stalls out. This only time this realy happens is when the car is all warmed up. I can avoid it stalling out by down shifting and keeping the rpms up. The check engin light only comes on when it has stalled out and goes off then i start it back up.

1992 240sx coupe, 5 speed w/135,xxx miles.

Thanx in adavance Dustin.

Well I have had the intake for 4 months now and this problem had only accured in the last 2 weeks. At first It would drop realy low and then go back up to normal rpms, but yesterday it started stalling out on me. Im also getting normal gas milage and seams to have the same amount of power too.

I have pretty much the same problem. Only really noticed it after installing a pop charger instead of the air box. Only vacuum line i moved was the one that comes out of the side of the airbox, i put a breater on it

Mine is doing the same after being "fixed" by the local dealer. Last time they just reset the idle speed, but now that its happening again, I'm wondering if there's a bad seal.

You guys ever thought of bad gas. It has been a huge problem for me too and I use 92 octane but what I suggest is driving your car till almost all the gas is gone like on E with the light on and then go ahead and fill up once with super. I know its expensive but just try it and then add fuel injector cleaner if you dont have a turbo that is. after that go ahead and red line it in all five gears and if automatic just down right floor it. This will also pump more fresh gas in and clean the injectors. After a few days of this type torture to your car it shoud go away. Oh and if the check engine light doesn't go out take it to discount auto parts and have them do a code check to see if it will turn off, because it wont turn off automaticly. Also if its been a while the EGR valve may be damaged and possibly needs to be replaced.Well guys I hope this little bit helps but if it doesnt drop me a line.
