the new-er car i got, burns oil and seems to be burning coolant as well.. but im not 100% sure about the coolant.. sincei cant smell any "sweet" smells.

anyways.. the thing is.. i just put my coilovers on and went for a drive around my neighborhood roads..

first time, i accel'ed to ~40-50 in 3rd and the car felt like it was just pulling back for some reason. i could press the gas and it'd do nothing.. like the throttle wasn't there then the idle just dropped around 200-400 fluctuating, but didnt shut off. i let it idle for a bit.. then drove back.

went past my house on an uphill, put the car in neutral and coasted.

this time, the idle dropped to 200-400 fluctuating and the car just shut off... after i re-started the car, it was fine..

i'm just wondering as to wtf this could possibly be? i know none of my vaccum lines are messed up, nor the sensors being fouled, since it ran very well the day i bought it.

i did seafoam the crank, gas, and thru the brake booster.

oddly, crank = smoked. (for awhile....?) brake booster = of course, did smoke. gas = i need to go fill up... faulty gauge cluster.

anyone have a clue to whats wrong with my engine? it seems like its on its way out with the bad valve seals letting the oil burn up....

this is all on a NA KA24DE

any help would be appreciated.

seems to be bad case of.. no-gas-in-the-tank.>_< the gauge cluster is broken and the light didnt come on..also i added seafoam to the gas.. but there wasnt much gas so i suppose it burned upt he seafoam which = sucked.

problemo fixed with a good tank of 93 gas!
