So I've done all sorts of things to find what's making my 99.5 Pathfinder stall. It was losing power, or possible missing, for a split second while cruising, but only rarely. Yet at the same time stalling at red lights and stop signs became a worse and worse problem, until if finally died on me.

I've changed the fuel pump, the fuel regulator, the fuel filter, the timing belt (actually all belts, while I was at it), spark plugs, wires and distributor cap, IAC valve, Mass Air flow sensor--checked the fuses and I'm still only able to crank it up, let it run for a minute, or two, and then the thing sputters and dies on me again. I'm not a knowledgeable mechanic, only your garden variety do-it-yourselfer. What say you knowledgeable Pathfinder mechanics?

This sounds similar to what happened to me when my distributor died. It started with a rare misfire that was getting more frequent. Then I could crank the vehicle and it would run for ~30 seconds and die. I could make it run longer if I kept my foot on the gas. When I had it diagnosed they told me that the pulse for the fuel injection was weak and that it was controlled by the distributor. I replaced it and set timing and there where no more issues. Im not saying this is the problem with your vehicle, but it sounds like it to me.
