Two questions:

'95 Q. The driver's seat works in every direction except forward and back. It moves maybe a half inch, coming and going. It behaves like something might be jammed in the track, but I can't see anything. Is there some way to access the tracks that I don't see, or is this a blown motor? (And if its blown, why does it move even a little?)

Second: The right rear running light is out. Do I have yank out the CD changer to get to this thing?

Thanks.

Sorry for the previous double post, I was re-re-re-re registering. I should have been more clear. The '95 Q has a red running light on the right rear quarter panel approximately at the same location outside as the CD changer inside. How do I change the bulb ... or don't I?

Also, as I say the drivers seat now only moves maybe an inch forward and back. What does anyone think? Motor shot/ Jammed? Again ... access?

Put a padded screwdriver between the light and the body panel at the rear of the light. Gently wedge the light forward about 3/16" and it will pop out. Don't wedge the screwdriver to the rear as you may damage the paint. Good luck.

Probably something jammed in the track as you suspect. Same thing happened to mine. I pulled the seat out (4 bolts and a plug), cleared the jam and re-greased the track.

McDonald's french fries petrify in aproximately 1 week. That could be the culprit...

I considered the McDonalds Effect. In my case it could be Milk Duds and curly fries. I'm doomed!

Do I need special tools to pull the seat out? Its tough enough just to SEE under it.
