Just as the title says, the other day I was testing out my brakes to make sure they were working fine after my brake job. They stop great but one time I did a panic break from about 50 mph (essentialy slamming on the brake) and as the car came to a stop so did the motor, it braked smoothly its just the motor seemed to get bogged down and died out. Just wondering if anyone knows what exactly could cause it. I am only running 6psi on the greddy kit i have 300zx brakes up front stock 240sx master cylinder, no boost/vacuum leaks anywhere.

its your master cylinder. I dont know if yours is working, but when i did the front z32 brakes on my 95, it seemed like the stock MC wasnt able to keep up. Just sitting in the driveway, pumping the brakes, the car would bog and the vacuum would drop. And the brakes felt really soft like i could never get all the air out. It also had some bogging driveability problems. Changed that out for a z32 BMC and everything was fine. Hope this helps.

Where you driving normal or were oyu boosting. With my atmospheric BOV my car stalls if I don't blip the throttle usually. Got it fixed to where no need to hit the throttle anymore, cranked my idle up to 1100rpms.

i was boosting, but currently i don't have a bov or intercooler (Greddy Kit) as far as the MC my brake pedal is pretty firm and my motor doesn't bog down if i pump the brakes at idol. i am planning on getting the 300zx MC just for better brake feel.
