Stall as soon as clutch is depressed. help?

So just recently my de has started to stall out at idle. I runs fine all other times, but as soon as I push the clutch in and rpms drop under 1k it starts wanting to die. Then it will lope up and down a couple times, straighten itself out for a minute or two, and then start loping again. It has only shut completely off once, but it comes really close every time it lopes. This all started happening after some lady backed into my front bumper in a parking lot. VERY lightly, but there was a little jerk. I find it hard to believe its just coincidence, but i don't see how such a small bump could've caused this problem.
