Same for the rotors I have heard to steer clear from anything powerstop but just want to see what you guys are running for rotors aswell.
TIA
Yeah I think the rotor thickness stock is 30mm, a 4mm spacer from the brakes definitely wouldnt hurt! I believe the part # for them is (DB52314BLKS) which seems to be the proper rotor for the akebono brakes, no clue about the rear onesEniGmA1987 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 3:32 pmI have been through 5-6 brands of rotors with my car (though never big brake kit ones), and the only one that has ever actually held up and not developed a bad shake when stopping is DBA T3 5000 rotors. I had the OEM ones of course and they lasted a couple weeks before problems, I tried the really popular Brakemotive that everyone used back then, two different EBC types, some Cryo brand, PowerStop, and then finally just bit the bullet and bought DBA for twice as much as any others had cost me. Where other brands lasted anywhere from a few months to a year, DBA has not developed a shaking problem during stopped for around 3 years of use. I barely drive the car anymore but those rotors are still on there 6 years later. SO if I were you I would look around and try to find some sizes on various DBA models and buy some that are the same size as what fits in the BBK you are going to get. Usually 350-355mm diameter but IDK how thick. Front thickness is usually around 30-34mm.
