who else besides nismo sells a stainless steal clutch line? Ive seen one other place on the internet that sells stainless steel turbo lines, clutch lines, and brake lines but I can't remember the site name. They sold the clutch line for 40bucks instead of 100 like nismo's.

I have the taka SS clutch line and front and rear z32 brake conversion lines. Very nice stuff. I am well pleased.

I just wish now that I had removed the dampener loop on the clutch when I installed it.

is there really a benefit to using these. i know its supposed to help the lines from bubbling, but whats the advantage?

It was free....and you can get on that is longer so you can remove the loop dampener.

Think about it. What is the weak point in the clutch system? The rubber piece that connects to the slave cylinder! This piece is known to bulge when the clutch is engaged quickly, softening the feel of the pedal. Also resulting in slow response, and possibly damage to the clutch AND trans during hard shifting.

A steel braided clutch line gets rid of any bulge in the clutch system, and improves the pedal feel dramatically.

you don't need one any longer to bypass the clutch dampener. Just bend the stock hardline.

I really don't understand why taka motorsports carry 2 different clutch lines. Whoever said that you need a longer line to bypass the dampener? As a matter of fact, the clutch line can be half as long as the stock one and it'll still work as long as you bend the hard line correctly. I was able to bypass the dampener using K2RD's line ($25). All I had to do was connect the hard line from the master cylinder directly to the clutch line and that's about it. A ss clutch line isn't even necessary but I already bought the ss line so I installed it anyway.

The only noticeable difference between the stock rubber line with dampener vs ss/rubber line with bypassed dampener is the clutch is simpler to bleed and the pedal has much more stiffness to it.

Was it worth it? Yeah!

VitaminT, take the damper out anyway! Just bend the hardline around. Here, check this out: http://www.zeroyon.com/pics/in....html

Hehe, its such a simple thing but not many people seem to know about it :) Just be careful not to crimp it!

I think I have a tubing bender that I can use to make a smooth bend.

Judging that they sell the TAKA turbo lines, I think that the clutch line they sell if from TAKA as well.
