Stain on paint

I have no idea what got on my pearl white finish today, but it looked like red mud and left yellowish stains on my hood. Any idea how to get that off?

what have you tried to use to get the stain out? is it possible to see pictures of the stain?

I tried car soap and "goo-gone." I didn't want to try anything more harsh for fear of damaging the paint. I'll try to take a photo tomorrow (it's dark here, now). It's like bloody bug-splats that left a yellowish stain and it seems to be all the way through the outer finish.

for really bad stains/scratches i use scratch remover...its in a yellow bottle. You can buy it nealy everywere...Wally world has it.

ive had best results with 3m fine cut rubbing compound, jus polish afterwards.
