I'm considering finally getting rid of the old Pie Pans and moving up a few inches in wheel sizing. I've noticed that several people are running larger width wheels in the back. Do you just have the wheeels balanced and not rotated?

Are there any issues with this or benefits?

Just hoping to understand before I make a wheel decision. Thanks for all the other wheel and tire info.

I run staggered tires and you can rotate them side to side but not front to back. Overall, I dont recommend staggered tires for Qs, as 245-45-18 all around is spectacular.

Read Q45tech's posts on suspension, vehicle loading and spring rates. You will learn that staggered tires are an affectation, not a performance enhancement, without changes to the suspension.

Not all will allow for even side to side rotation as some are marked "this sidewall out".

Those would be assymetric and directional.

I couldn't imagine a stock or nearly stock power level Q needing big rubber out back. Maybe if you ran very little camber, stiff rear suspension and a huge rear sway bar, it would necessitate wide rubber to keep the rear end on the road. All it would do on a stock Q would be to promote understeer.
