St. Louis Versas?

Anyone here from St. Louis, MO? I've had my Versa SL / Magnetic Gray for about a week. I hadn't seen one on the road until I bought it, in the last week I've seen three. Obviously a car that's growing in popularity, with good reason...

I live in IL, but work in StLouis. Up at 270 and ST Charles rock road. So I use that stretch from St Charles rock road to 367 pretty much every day. Mine is sapphire blue.

Funny, I'm exactly the opposite. I live in Missouri but work in IL, go on 270 the whole way through N. County and then onto 255 N in IL. Bought mine from Bommarito right off 270. It's a fantastic highway cruiser.

How do you stand the humdity?

We were at Hannibal, MO, at 4:30 in the afternoon one day in July. I stepped out the a/c car and melted on the pavement. I'd wanted to go to Hannibal since I was in college, and 10 minutes walking the street made me lose 10 pounds. I no longer cared about Huck and Tom and only wanted AIR CONDITIONING!

I was thirsty for two days.

I'd rather be hot than cold, and here in St. Louis we get our fair share of both.

Even loving the warm weather, every year I thank my lucky stars that I was born in the age of air conditioning, in my home, office and car. I had a car about six years ago that was air less (well, it had the equipment but the compressor went kaput and it was too expensive to fix). It was a brutal summer -- I was quite happy to get rid of that clunker.
