Yesterday I bought the SSV EXTREME FLOW KINETIX PLENUM. Does anybody know what else I need to buy to ensure this is properly installed, i.e. gasket, etc... I'm not sure if it comes with one. And has anybody done this and noticed better performance? Please let me know. I have a BLOX 5/8th spacer on now and the tower bar rubs. I think I got rooked from the people who sold me the tower bar because they said it would fit. It doesn't. Even after a phone call, they still said it should be fine. My whole car vibrates now. I think it's going to crack my stock plenum.

I've posted before about a problem I had with a different car that had the tower brace and a plenum spacer. Mine had just a little clearance, but when the engine was under load, it would torque to the passenger side. It eventually cracked the plenum. If yours touches the plenum with no load on the engine, you may end up having the same problem. I'd watch it really carefully.

I ran the car with it on for about 100 miles. The whole car vibrated. When I opened the hood, i could see that the tower touched the plenum and the hood sound proofing materials. I took it off and could see two spots that were being rubbed down. Both the tower and the plenum. So I took it off and all is well. I am now waiting for my new SSV plenum. After reading other forums about upper and lower receivers I read about speedforceracings products. That is a bad *** dual intake. However, I am not twin turboing. It seems kind of expensive too. Any body buy that yet?

Speed Force Racings is way too expensive for a plenum. You have to buy a second throttle body plus the wiring for it. It's way too expensive for the gains you would receive.

Yeah, but it's bad *** looking! I think I will stay with my single for now.
