I wouldn't buy any of that stuff, sounds expensive. I keep mine on the cheap side, really I don't think there are any parts for the CA that are hard to find.

I can get you either of those oil coolers cheaply if you want, I there is an 80's RX7 and an AE86 corolla in a yard I was at on saturday and the guy is pretty reasonable. Let me know. The 86 has a pretty nice little stock cooler.

hey guys, sorry to ressurect this ANCIENT thread, but it'd be cleaner than starting a new one..

so of those that have the SSAC or other tubular manifold, would you say that the trade off is worth it? im thinking of purchasing a CXRacing Manifold, since i like their products so far. it seems that the turbo spools about 500rpm later or so, but is the power gained from the wait worth it? Im really looking since my SR O2/downpipe setup will have the frame rail defect w/ the stock mani.

Even if the torque is dropping using the manifold, are there ways to remedy it later on in an engine build? Thanks.

http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/me...=NISN^^thats the manifold

and one last question..is using a tubular manifold still driftable or no?

The ca18deT is not technically legal in any USDM chassis, however some states will let it slide if you pass emissions. Other states that have a visual inspection like Cali will not let it pass.

that definatly depand on the state in new york its legal as long as you dont change the title specs you can go with a ca and sr because its still a 4 cylinder but you cant go with a vq cause its a 6 at least thats it here in ny but other side is all aftermarket upgrades made to the veh with out factory accredatation are illegale like all you can use is nismo parts regardless or have your parts put on by a dealer

and if you want to fix your low end probablem is cams cams cams by having a longer duration more gasses can escape the cylinder and push into the turbo causing an earler boost and a better take off
