just dont buy that manifold, haven't people learned their lessons with ssac manifolds. Get yourself a JGS tools log manifold and you dont have to worry about the MC or your manifold falling apart.

I had a problem with master cylinder clearance on my manifold. I fixed that with a wedge spacer welded onto the flange. I never had an issue with cracking, mine is till in perfect shape no cracks.

I'm selling my manifold at the moment. I would keep it, but my new turbo has a divided housing. If you are interested in my manifold let me know. I will cut you a good deal on it.

Please give more info on the wedge, what sort of turbo are you running that had clearance problems.

S13 Freak, do you have ABS? Cause I thought the clearence issue was just with ABS equipped cars. Correct me if I am wrong.

i saw that you had one for sale, i was actually thinking about buying it, but i didnt know what kind of turbo you had previously... because i didnt know if it would hit the underside of my hood.. im looking to run a gt35r, so it might have clearance issues..what kind of downpipe did you run? do you have pictures of the turbo on the manifold on the engine with the downpipe? if you did id prolly buy it from you.-tim

I ran a T3/T04E with a 4 bolt turbine housing. I also ran a 3 in downpipe. I'm not at my home computer right now, but I don't know if I have any pictures of the turbo on there. My turbo barely rubbed one of the hood supports, so all I did was notch the hood support and it cleared fine.

And my car doesn't have abs.

Hey man not trying to bust your balls but if you're going to spring for the GT35R, why not buy a nicer manifold to put it on? That's a very big, very expensive turbo on a manifold that is notoriously weak...

notoriously weak? i havent heard one person complain about their new manifold cracking, infact i heard its really not that bad of a design at all..also its only like $170 for a brand new one, you know what i payed for the one i have now, $550 with the downpipe.. yea the old boostdesigns one and guess what that one cracked!! so the amount of money you spend on it doesnt mean ****, i have gotten it welded since then because it wasnt a major crack at all. but at this moment i dont have **** for money.

and remember bad news spreads faster than good news.

well how much power do you plan on running, if its under 400whp i would highly recomend the jgs b/c its not only cheap but you will get a better spool up time with it when compared to the no-so-equal-lenght ssac manifold. plus if your worried about clearance issuses the jgs log has none. It also has a external wastegate flange which i was pretty sure the ssac does not.

i dont know... why? btw my goal is 500whp. i think i have already broken into the low 300's (never dynoed) but am looking to upgrade now of course.so.. im guessing s13 freak's manifold would work, but im still not sure where to buy a downpipe for it.thanks for the suggestions.-tim

I believe they're 4 bolt T31 flanges.

So, it just raises your turbo? Does that cause hood clearance issues? That is a f*in' bravo way to handle it, though. I will put a slight cowl on it if I need to.

It raises the turbo and tilts it away from the master cylinder. My T3/T04E just barely rubbed the hood support, so I notched it and that took care of everything.

Are you interested in my manifold? I can cut you a good deal on it.
