ok so i bought an ssac mani ....great price ...great service ....fast shipping

ok so i have the ca18det in my ae86 .....before everything fit perfectly ....like this

but now with the ssac .....these pic were takin from my fone

the pipe out from my turbo didnt work ....it hits the mani

so i try the ca18det one the came with my motor

the turbo now sits lower and its in the way of my mounts

the turbo was also moved forward ......which is a tiny plus cuz now i can move the motor back more for better weight distribution

when i bought my HKS GT25-30 turbo it came with the pipe from an sr20 i htink ....and when i bought my motor it came with a stock pipe......i tried both they dont work......are there any other pipes i can purchase? or use ? is there an such thing as an extension ???how can i make that pipe clear?

their manifolds have been known to cause those problems. I bought mine from someone of these forums and they had just dented in one of the pipes just a little bit to fit around the valve cover, though I never used it, it should have worked fine.

Also, it does indeed lower the turbo, my friend cut and welded his downpipe to make up for it... dont know what youre gonna do about the 86 though...

haha i like the little thunderbolts you have showing distress in the picture.

cant you just rotate the cold side of the turbo a smidge?

Buy a flange, use it as a spacer, and use longer bolts:http://app.infopia.com/Shop/Co...26335

oh thats a great idea ....usin the flange as an extension .........i ran into actuall extensions before specifically made for this problem before ........i just dont remember where i saw it ............i would love to have this pipe way way far away from the manifold as possible tho .........even with the extra flange ....its still very close to the manifold............anyone has ideas any other ideas ??....or know where to find that special extension ???

update ....

i found the adaptor ....FRSPORT carries them ........its specified for t28 turbo due to the clocked position......i believe the t28 and t25 are the same for the 3 bolt outlet........has anyone tried this ???.....it looks like this BUT after taking a hard look at it .....i need it to clock away from the pipes ....this adaptor clocks the outlet back towards the pipes

simple fix: just loosen the bolt on the compressor housing and rotate it until it clears.....

is it the bolts ??? ......i thought it was the big C-clip ??? to clock the turbo ..sorry im new with the turbo thing

another thing is that i check my turbo on clocking it .......the previous owner had clocked it to its max already ....he had it on his SR20.........if i try to clock it anymore my wastegate wont be aligned with my hinge for the door.........as of right now the stem is comming in at an angle on the waste gate....i will take picures wen im off work to show you guys

I have that "rotator flange" kit you posted, its meant to let you use the S14 turbo with S13 hotpipe and S14 turbo inlet/outlet. It appears it will only work for you if you use the chrome outlet with s13 hotpipe.

Is that a T25

T25 should have c-clip holding compressor housing. You'd need to mess with that to get it clocked. Kinda a PITA

if your compressor has a c-clamp; try give it a sqeez with this needle nose and rotate.

If it's got the C-clip, just get a breaker bar in the outlet opening and spin it a little. I've done it countless times with no problems.
