I read all the threads on the SSAC and does anybody know if they have fixed the CA pipes yet??? I have been wanting to get a FMIC for sometime now but I don't weld and again being in Germany don't really know anybody that can weld. There is this other more generic looking kit on ebay now. What do you guys think? I think the SSAC is nicer looking but I have had some bad experiences with SSAC. I know DEE recommends the SSAC from prior posts but again I have issue with why SSAC can't just fix the stupid pipe. Does anybody know if they have fixed it yet? Is the core too big for stock turbo any other problems I need to know about it before I blow my cash. I can also get this setup from APEXI for 500 what do you guys think????

Sorry if anybody thinks this is a repost but I have read the threads so don't crap on me please!!

You don't NEED to weld. Just cut the pipe and connect it with a piece of silicone hose.

C-rad is correct. You dont NEED to weld the pipes. Need meaning its not 100 percent completely and utterly required or else. You can buy silicone couplers and tbolts, but silicone couplers, reducers, and elbows can get pricey. You also run more of a chance of blowing off pipes if you're cranking up the boost. But again...you do not NEED..notice I emphasize the word need, to weld your intercooler pipes. But silicone couplers are much more convenient when you cant get things welded.

Thanks guys I was wondering if anybody was going to give any info or help. There is another kit on ebay for 160 for the sr20 looks very cheap but if it works that is all that matters. Also will the SSAC be too much for stock turbo? I have a Blitz access ecu, APEXI intake, 3 inch exhaust from the elbow back, and no catalytic converter.

THANKS FOR THE INFO GUYS!!!!!

Here is the other FMIC what do you guys think??? It doesn't seem to be vehicle specific though. Crap load of pipes with a fmic. Crazy shipping price too.

I also found a TRUST intercooler FMIC setup and one pipe even has two spots for extra injectors. Little beat up but 300 bucks and also for the SR. Am I correct in assuming that the SR fmic also works with a little modification?
