ive not run it on a 25, but i have run it on 2 sr swapped 240s, and a ka24 240 for a couple weeks. Its a great system, and i will be using it on my 25. For the price there is nothing that comes close to the quality.

Personally I don't even look at SSauto exhaust systems. Lucky for you the RB motors aren't too loud so you can get away with it. I have ran the Greddy power Extream 2 on my S13 with the RB20 and it was way too quiet on the stock turbo. My friends S13 has the GT spec from Apexi with his RB25 and it's quiet too on his RB25. I just picked one up for my S14 so I hope it's not loud with the bigger turbo. I got sound clips of those but not SSauto.

Yea thats an interesting BBB link. I have an xspower intercooler on my 91 mr2 turbo and havent had any trouble(so far, knock on wood) with it. Well i take that back, when it first arrived one of the pipes had a hole in it so i sent it back. I got no responses to my emails so i had my girlfriend do some internet searching for a phone #. It took her a few hours but she produced one, when i called it they did'nt awnser in a business like fasion, but more like someone would awnser there house phone, with just a hello. I said is this ssac and the woman got ill as hell and said yea it is. Any way long story short after repeated calls i got the problem corrected, they sent me a whole new piping kit which i cant complain about, but i never should have had to send it back in the first place. I wish i still had the phone number I would post it on every forum i could find. Mabey i will have her dig it up again so i can do just that.

Let me get this straight....

1. You want to purchase an SSAC exhaust system.2. You want to hear what it sounds like first.3. You've had problems with them before.4. The only reason the problems were resolved is because you called them, which they obviously didn't want you to do.5. You want to post their phone # so other people can complain about their problems.

Is it just me, or are you a little nuts? Maybe if you've had problems with them before you shouldn't get more parts from them.

ill let you know right now i have two friends with the ssac 3" cat back on there s13 and s14 and they both have horrible ground clearance cause the hang real low and scrape and if the car is lowered its even worse, and i have 3.75" apexi gt spec cat back and i have no clearance issues at all ill just let you know you get what you pay for.

i had an apexi n1 dual tip style from ssac and the exhaust sound wise was fin but i did have fitment problems.. it was to short on the back and i had to take it to a muffler shop to extend it.. over all it's not that bad..

with all of this exhaust talk i have a ? will a s13 catback fit with the stock rb25 downpipe? i have tophat mounts.

No Jerryrig240 im not nuts! I never said anything about wanting an ssac exhaust, just that i wandered how loud it would be. Yes I had problems with them before, but if the price is right mabey it's worth the risk, especially on a non mechanical part such as exhaust. I have hks exhaust on my mr2 and love it, but on the downside i also paid $700 for it. Im not sure which route im going to take on the exhaust im just trying to get feedback and info on some different systems.
