Just got done installing new exhaust mani, elbo, turbo, and SS turbo lines...Started her up and she purred like a kitten. Except for the oil leaking out of the banjo bolt going into the block. I used new copper washers too. What did I do wrong or what am I missing? I want to drive this thing tomorrow. Please Help

I did use teflon tape and didn't mention that, but did tighten pretty good and one of the washers did bend a tiny bit. Thanx guys, goin to the bolt store now to get some new washers.

$120 is pretty cheap considering how much easier they are to work with. If you are really that cheap though start piecing the kit together on your own. Pull your lines off and use the stock banjo bolts to determine fitting sizes.

thank you, the cost of repairs from the local shop has left me broke. once I get it home, ill simply try to tighten the fittings and add proper washers.

Ill save up and wait.

I got the lines for some where around $100. But the crush washers they came with were too big and leaked. Get better washers to fill the gap.

Just get them from ebay for el cheapo. I'm pretty sure thats where I got mine.

As for the washers- any copper crush washer should do.

crush washers it is, askme4parts does have good ones but you dont understand how broke I am.

I just graduated from SCAD in Savannah GA and with classes ending my job as a college DJ is over. ( I used to make $25/hr ) so I just need to pay the shop and get it on the road.

even 100$ is a lot

but Im sure my lines are ok, when the motor was out, we removed the turbo to check its shaftplay and a friend of mine didn't tighten the turbo lines when he put them back, or he lost the washer.
