Last night went to the Daytona beach meet and will have pics of it up soon. Anywayz fast forward to 11pm as I just arrived back into my town. There is a double turn lane going left and there was a 98 SS camaro sittign in the inside lane.....Just as I'm pullign up my next song starts and it's sweet home alabama........The guys are laughing about it and give me these smirks... Light turns green and we start to turn, I was going to get beside them and accelerate with them to aggervate them, but they didn't give me a chance. They jsut floored it form the get go catching me off guard. By the time I made the turn and got straight he had 3-4 cars on me..... By the time I shifted into 3rd my nose was on his tail and I was pulling on him hard.....thne I hit 6k and my car has some issue and hit a brick wall..... was even with him when this happened so I played it off....Started talkign to the passenger as we were cruising and they said "Is that thing turboed or something" I replied "How else would I keep up" they said "I know I was wondering how the hell you were catching me" They then turned around.... I wanted to go again but don't like pushing my luck.....

Plan to be there this weekend. I'm sick right now from something. I'll try to meet with you on wednesday to hook up my wideband. unless you want to drive here to DeLand. which might be good because it would put some miles on your baby. Also got 2 stretches of road by my house 2miles long and 4 miles long

like i mentioned in one of your other post... i have a hard time driving on the highway. ill throw you some gas money and buy you lunch/dinner for your services. quick question though. since i have my 5 psi spring in right now and we tuned it for 5 psi, would the a/f stay the same without touching any settings if i put my 15 psi spring in since the maf would be metering the larger change in air flow? i would put the 15 psi spring in now, but i gave my n62 maf to rn240sx to check and see if its good because hes already running a n62 on his car. talk me into coming where??

Wait to get your z32mafs back.....Increasing psi should put you in almsot same a/f ratio unless injectors are being maxed out. But if you use a stock mafs and then upgrade it meters different, so you'll need another tune. You a enthalpy tune? or just safc?? What you do for timing??

555 deatschwerks (actually flowed an avg of 560), safc1, and an apexi ITC for timing. with the ITC i can advance/retard 15 degrees throughout the rev band. thatll be sufficient enough for 15 psi which is the max im gonna boost on this setup. i should have word back from robert within a few days if my n62 is good or not. if its not then ill just tune for 5 psi and leave it because i dont have the money right now for a z32 maf. and i then ill finally be able to call the fuker out who sold it to me whos on here and in FL! file a paypal claim on his a$$ and get my $140 back biatch.

They asked was it turboed?!? Rookies...

No, you just turn on your two big bottles of NAWS when you see a pony car.

If you still had it I could of come an tested it for you.....When we do the tuning I'll control your fuel. I won't touch timing.Unless you specify what you want it at.

oh well... ill just wait and get word back from him. i want to have everything ready, so we only have to do it once. i hope it turns out good so i can put the 15 psi spring in my tial. ive got my timing already where it should be at (4 degrees retarded once in boost revs). the timing is adjusted by rpms and not boost like a btm.

You'll need to retard more on up then, up to about 7-8......On a side note I have a mdm techtom....could see what my car reads timing while under boost

Sounds like he meant for 15 psi, assuming the standard 1/2 degree retard per pound of boost...?

ok i thought you meant for 15 psi but not sure. theres a sunoco a few miles from my house that has 100 octane at the pump. my car needs to get on a wideband really bad. it doesnt really go anywhere when i full throttle it even for 5 psi. im just playing it safe till we do tune it. i went and picked up a bov flange from titan just now, so i can finally run my bov once i get it welded on which will probably be tomorrow. whole time all i hear is rrrrrrrfffftttfftttfftttff. i am eventually going to get my dump tube routed back into my downpipe. when i finally met rn i remembered him having creep issues with his being routed back in. so i asked him what did he do about it. all he did was have it enter the downpipe at a 30 degree angle instead of 90 which was causing the few psi of creep. im probably gonna get a piece of pipe welded on my sr 3'' downpipe right where it makes the bend to go under the car. then get some sort of slip pipe made to go on that piece and onto the end of my jgs dump tube. im gonna call robert today and see whats up with the maf.

Yea your dump tube has to be at an angle to go with the flow of your exhaust, otherwise you'll get creep. At an angle the exhaust will pull it. at 90 degrees it causes too much interference and creates a blockage of the wastegate....I for one love hearing my wastegate scream
