Anyone seen SS autochrome's engine back kit for the CA? Any experiences? Any thoughts / opinions? I'm kind of short on money and dont really have an opinion on an exhaust / catback. I would get a custom one built but would rather buy a complete ready to bolt on catback. Should I get this or just wait and get a "real" catback exhaust?

i am slightly confused, do you mean just a catback? what is in their engine pack? when you say engine pack from them i think manifold, turbo, elbow, possibly intercooler and all that stuff for like 1000 bucks, which from what i have read is crap unless u reinforce the sh8t outa the manifold and brace the turbo, and idk if id trust such a cheap no name turbo, BUT if you are talking about their N1 style catback go for it, that is what im getting, i made a thread about them on 240sxforums, every1 that had one said they are great, its basically like megan racing, just cheaper, i mean there isent much that could go wrong except fitment, which every1 said was fine, and they said welds we also good

Yeah, it's the manifold, O2 pipe, downpipe and catback for $500. It really isn't THAT bad of a deal considering... I would probably get it. Local guy here was a welder for NASCAR for 25 years and I would have him just look it over and reinforce it where it's needed.

Nissan provides you with a nice place for a mounting bracket to attach... just use where the AIV assembly used to be

That exhaust will drone, but it is cheap. You've got to pay if you want a tolerable ride. Definitely worth the money if you can stand the racket, but I can't and that's why I paid $500 for the catback alone.
