I just purchased a intercooler kit from SS auto chrome. when i recieved the intercooler the bracket welded to the top was bent at a 45 degree angle as opposed to the 90 degree angle its supposed to be at. i figure oh well no big deal i could probably bend it back. well i took a closer look and turns out if i bend it, it will crush the core. so i email SSAC figuring its a manufacture defect and its still in warrenty and it can be replaced. I emailed them told them the problem and even sent pictures of what was wrong. It takes them a few days to reply(just for information like my adress, order numer etc). then i get an email today saying this:
"JUST BEND IT THE OTHER WAY - IT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT IS THAT BIG OF A DEAL - IT IS A BRACKET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST TAKE A PAIR OF PLYERS, AND SLOWLY, BEND IT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE
COME ON - IS THIS EMAIL NECESSARY ?"
Is it just me or is that a bit FVCKED up on the customer service side. On there page it says our priority is #1 in customer service. I clearly stated to them before that though that it can not be bent back without causeing damage. any way i just wanted to tell you guys my story and to becareful ordering from them because they seem to be a bunch of ***holes that deserve to die.
