My buddy has a BPU SRT4. Anyone have any experience with these VS the 3.5's?

You know how SRT owners love to talk...

Yeahif its a stock SRT-4 then it would be a good race and with 6-speed you'll win

"Hussian" on here has a couple youtube videos of him and his friends SRT-4 racing but I think his is modded even though the SRT-4 is modded in the videos Hussian keeps up pretty good, and in a 1/4 mile he actually beat his friend

ya stock it will be a good race but i think you might win since yours is a stick shift (assuming you can drive stick good). but with SRT4's, mods are easy and cheap. if he has mods done, it could be a whole other story...

SRT 4 Stage 3 with all the mods (IC Spray, Mopar Stage 3 PCM, 15psi+ Etc) would be faster than the 3.5SE.

Stock SRT-4, it's quick, but I think it'd be slower than the 3.5SE.

Stock has 230hp and only weighs like 300 pounds less. Should it really be that close????

lol stage 3 SRT4 is almost as fast as a GT-R! if the OP is trying to race a stage 3, its a waste of gas cuz the stage 3 SRT4 will smoke his a**

Yeah, I was wondering about that, most anything that is 15+ psi is pretty freakin fast.

Even though I respect the SRT-4 for being fast and easy to modits still a neon

Even the stockest dirtiest altima looks better/ and has more attention to detail then the nicest SRT-4 but thats IMO

sorry for any SRT-4 owners

Jesus, $200 is getting him that much gain? What exactly does he have for that amount of money?

modded you might not have a chance :/

and of course it depends on if the driver really knows how to drive stick well.

dont judge, but im about to trade mine for an SRT-4 because its the only car that cheap that with a couple mods can blow most cars away....thats not a typical stupid honda.

yeah an SRT-4 is still a neon but when a neon whoops your booty it must be shameful for the other person, lol :p

considering that you'd be going from a sentra to a srt-4...i'd call that an upgrade. i'm not a real big fan of either..but if i had to choose between the two...i'd go srt-4 too

Car for car, the SRT4 takes the Coupe, but not by much. 240hp vs 240hp, with the SRT weighing in at 2850 lbs, and the coupe weighing in at 3590lbs. Torque is almost identical.

The instant you start modding both cars, pricewise, the SRT annihilates the coupe. My SRT makes 440whp on a stock block. What does your coupe make?

Bottom line, driver mod is very important here. It's a challenge driving a fwd car with that much hp. When it hooks, say bye bye.

Sentrastace, why are you so sexy and plz do me in my srt.

BCUZ you're my sexy boyfriend and my new SRT can be your SRT's gf too if you like. you have no backseats to make naughty in, so I guess mine will have to suffice.

hilarrrioussss numbers. SRT 4 owners always get so crazy

just MY personal opinion is that its a neon. when i think neon i just think cheap quality. id be more down with a 2.5 sedan altima than a srt4.

Thanks for providing correct numbers instead of just acting like a douche. Intelligent. Forgive me for attempting to debate with someone so far above me. What was I thinking?

It looks like in my drunken haze I was looking at the 3.5 SE numbers, but for the sedan lol. Here's what I found:

Coupehttp://www.autoweek.com/articl...49998

270hp / 258tq / 3241lbs

0-60 5.9 - 6.6 seconds depending on manual / auto

SRT4http://www.internetautoguide.c....html

230hp / 250tq / 2899lbs

0-60 5.3 seconds

I agree with Altycoupe, you don't buy an SRT4 for its luxuries. I bought mine because of the potential it has straight out of the factory.

Dude, I didn't even have to post numbers. I know them off hand and there's no point in putting them down because based off your first post it seemed like you're the type that wouldn't believe it anyway.

So do you just have accounts on random car sites (Other than your own make) to jump on in case there's ever a discussion of your car? Seems like a waste of time.

you gotta give it up for the srt 4 owners. slight modifications and these cars could turn into beasts! but the downside is that these type of cars are only good for straight away. id rather have a car that could take hard turns on the track

Nice cars? lol

I wouldnt classify the dodge neon srt-4 as nice Its fast and easy to modify with loads of potential but it just looks cheap

I respect the SRT-4 but that where it ends

and that 2.5 sedan comment was kinda crazy
