The bore of the srt-4 engine is 87.5 mm and ours is 89mm so i guess you would have to sleeve it in order to allow the piston to work, which you dont want to do

obviously cause theyre alot stronger and made to handle boost. a guy over on honda-tech just tuned and dynoed a stock motor srt4 and put down 520whp and 538ftlbs. only thing that was changed was the oil and spark plugs. those neons can throw down some heat eh?

it's called being able to tune. the srt4 does have a solid engine (don't remember the damn engine code  ), but not everyone can pull numbers like that on a stock engine.

for the price/time it's gonna cost to use the srt4's pistons, you could probably buy some forged pistons....and rods ;) .

unless the srt4's head has the same size combustion chamber as the KA, the compression ratio won't be 8.1:1.

yeah no ****, but not alot of stock motors can make that much power without popping. i agree, after you figured it out and got your hands on a set of pistons you could have just bought some aftermarket forged pistons.

impressive numbers for a Dodge neon, if they made a RWD SRT-4 i'd buy one.

my friend has a srt-4, those things are damn impressive. but yeah, you'd probably be better off buying aftermarket forged pistons

My friend also has a srt-4. And I AM very impressed. Just wouldnt ever think of putting a srt piston in a KA. Just doesnt seem logical. You do what you want, but Id go aftermarket KA pistons

There is no point in even thinking about this setup the bore is not the same as i put in my post above try doing a search on the bore of both engines you will find that they are different

SRT-4Bore & Stroke : 87.5 mm x 101.0 mm

240sxBore & Stroke : 89 mm x 96 mm
