hey im going to look at a 1990 tommorow. i've tried searching and didn't find exactly what i was looking for. i want to know if doing the sr20det swap into a 1990 is harder because i know it fits right into the 91-94's.

what all is different with the 89-90 versus 91-94 other than the front bumper?

the 90 will have a few little wiring issues is all.

Bumpers are interchangable, main difference in the 90 vs 91+ is the tachometer is different, so you will have to rewire/change that. Plenty of info on this if you search.
