Anytime you purchase an engine off of ebay you are taking a huge risk. Spend a little extra coin and buy one from a reliable shop.

if you have it shipped to your house. looks to be $200 to a business (probably to a port and then you pick up). get a lift gate truck (which you'll need to unload truck) add $75. get it sent to your house add another $100. $400 to ship on top of what you paid. kinda expensive

2 negatives in 30 sales in one month, that's 6% of unsatisfied customers in one months worth of business. good or bad depends on you.

if you go back to page 5 in feedback. he had a bad comment about a motor sale, but it seems like it was a communication error.

in the end it's your choice. me. i don't trust ebay for much. unless it's brand new.

you can probably get it cheaper

I got mine from Durdan Perfab. they are in Tampa. Contact them on AIM @ VortecFL

Everyone has opinions about ebay. The majority of the wisdom I have read here says "buy the cheapest parts on ebay, like lights". For the important stuff like turbos and engines buy from a reputable dealer that will support you presale and post sale. Call heavythrottle or jdmonline. When you factor in the possibily of getting a bum deal on ebay for a large purchase, all of a sudden a cheap motor doesn't seem so cheap.

LOL I bought an eBay SR20... and I got stood up....but I'm glad I did. Paypal recovered my funds and the SR mine was essentially free. Needle in a haystack though. Go with a shop.

If you buy through ebay you should either try to look at the engine before you buy it, or get it from a reputable company that has lots of pics and even a warranty. I got my last SR off ebay. It was an S14 SR20DET front clip for $1500. I didnt trust the pics so I drove to see it and confirm its condition.

Jhot and Jarco are great sellers of engines on ebay.http://stores.ebay.com/JARCO-I...QtZkmh ... Ja...QtZkm

No problem. Just as long as you are going SR. We get nasty when we hear KA-T.
